My wife Shirley and I graduated from Baptist Bible
College in Springfield, Missouri in 1968 (while Dr. Beachum Vick was
President of the College). We left college to work as associates and
youth directors for Calvary Baptist Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma, and
associate and youth director at Southwest Baptist Church in Tulsa,
Oklahoma and the last Church as associate, youth director, bus minister
was at Whittier Lane Baptist Church in New Castle, Indiana.
We came to Poteau in 1975 with our son to establish
an Independent Fundamental Bible Believing Baptist Church. The Poteau
Valley Baptist Church was organized in July 1976.
We have enjoyed the ministry with the Saints the
Lord has given us to labor with. We just celebrated the 33rd
year of the Church. We Praise God for all that the Lord has used our
people to accomplish for His Glory. We invite you to come and meet us
personally. It certainly would be our joy to meet you.
